The purpose of The Somerset Military Museum is to collect, document, preserve, display and provide access to material relating to The Somerset Light Infantry and its successor and antecedent regiments including Somerset's Yeomanry, and to use and interpret this material for the education and benefit of members of the public of all ages and backgrounds and those within the Armed Forces.
