SHADES' aim is to perform works of dramatic art of a Christian nature and theme for the benefit of the general public and to advance the Christian Religion. The Company organises fund-raising events as one way for financial support. Social events for members are organised and the general public is invited in order to provide opportunities for fellowship and discussion with potential audiences.
