Charitable objects
(1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF PUBLIC EDUCATION IN THE INDUSTRIAL HISTORY OF NARROW GAUGE RAILWAYS AND IN PARTICULAR BY THE PRESERVATION, RESTORATION, USE AND MAINTENANCE OF A STEAM LOCOMOTIVE AND OTHER ARTEFACTS ON THE UNDERTAKING CURRENTLY KNOWN AS THE LEIGHTON BUZZARD RAILWAY AND AT OTHER SUITABLE LOCATIONS. (2) IN THIS DOCUMENT THE WORDS "RESTORE" AND "PRESERVE" SHALL HAVE THE MEANINGS ASCRIBED TO THEM IN "STANDARDS IN THE MUSEUM CARE OF LARGER AND WORKING OBJECTS" APPENDIX C PARAGRAPH 3 1994 EDITION PUBLISHED BY THE MUSEUMS AND GALLERIES COMMISSION".
