THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE TO HELP NEEDY AND DESERVING MEMBERS OF THE ENGLISH BAR WHO ARE OR HAVE BEEN IN PRACTICE IN ENGLAND OR WALES, THEIR HUSBANDS OR WIVES, WIDOWS OR WIDOWERS, CHILDREN AND DEPENDANTS, OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUALS WITH WHOM IT CAN BE DEMONSTRATED THEY ARE OR WERE IN A COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP.
