Charitable objects

(I) TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION IN MUSIC IN THE COUNTY OF HAMPSHIRE, INCLUDING PORTSMOUTH, SOUTHAMPTON AND THE ISLE OF WIGHT, BY THE PRESENTATION AND PROMOTION OF CONCERTS AND RECITALS AND IN SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE FROM TIME TO TIME; AND (2) TO ENCOURAGE YOUNG MUSICIANS (BOTH AMATEUR AND PROFESSIONAL) BY FINANCIAL SUPPORT, BY PROVIDING THEM WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO PERFORM, AND BY SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE FROM TIME TO TIME.
