The object of the charity includes the promotion, support, assistance and improvement of The Lancashire Regiment Museum of the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment in co-operation with it's trustees, management & staff by carrying out research and organising educational events.

Charitable objects
TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC AND SERVING AND FORMER MEMBERS OF THE QUEEN'S LANCASHIRE REGIMENT ('THE REGIMENT') AND ITS SUCCESSOR, THE DUKE OF LANCASTER'S REGIMENT, IN THE HISTORY AND HERITAGE OF THE REGIMENT BY: (1) THE PROMOTION, SUPPORT, ASSISTANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE QUEEN'S LANCASHIRE REGIMENT MUSEUM ('THE MUSEUM') IN CO-OPERATION WITH IT'S TRUSTEES, MANAGEMENT AND STAFF; (2) CARRYING OUT RESEARCH AND PUBLISHING THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH, ORGANISING EDUCATIONAL EVENTS AND PUBLISHING A JOURNAL.
