1. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF THE ARTS, PARTICULARLY THE ART OF FILM AND ALLIED VISUAL TECHNIQUES. 2. TO PROMOTE THE BENEFITS OF THE INHABITANTS OF WIVENHOE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, INCLUDING USE FOR A. MEETINGS, LECTURES, PERFORMANCES AND CLASSES, AND B. OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS.
