FOR THE RELIEF OF NEED AMONGST ANY PERSONS WHO ARE CLERKS IN THE HOLY ORDERS (MALE OR FEMALE) RETIRED FROM STIPENDIARY MINISTRY IN THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND WHO AT THE TIME OF PAYMENT BY THE TRUSTEES ARE EITHER RESIDING IN THE DIOCESE OF YORK OR IF NOT RESIDING AT SUCH TIME IN THE DIOCESE OF YORK HAVE SERVED IN STIPENDIARY MINISTRY IN THE DIOCESE OF YORK FOR NOT LESS THAN 10 YEARS (OR TWO OR MORE PERIODS OF SUCH SERVICE WHICH TOGETHER AMOUNT TO NOT LESS THAN 10 YEARS)
