2.TO PROVIDE FOR MEN (AMENDED 20 DECEMBER 1972 TO INSERT 'AND WOMEN') WHO SHALL BE MEMBERS OF THE UNIVERSITY A COLLEGE WHEREIN THEY MAY WORK FOR DEGREES IN THE UNIVERSITY OR MAY CARRY OUT POST-GRADUATE OR OTHER SPECIAL STUDIES.
