THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ("THE OBJECTS") ARE TO ADVANCE THE GREEK ORTHODOX FAITH IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: 1. TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE INCLUDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE (WHICH FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT SHALL INCLUDE GRANTS) TO THE GREEK ORTHODOX COMMUNITIES IN GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND AND THE ARCHDIOCESE OF THYATEIRA AND GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND; 2. TO PROVIDE LOANS TO GREEK ORTHODOX COMMUNITIES IN THE UK AND IRELAND AND TO THE ARCHDIOCESE OF THYATEIRA AND GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND ON SUCH TERMS AS THE DIRECTORS SHALL REASONABLY DECIDE FROM TIME TO TIME BUT THE INTEREST TO BE CHARGED SHALL BE LESS THAN THE INTEREST CHARGED BY HIGH STREET BANKS ON COMMERCIAL LOANS; 2. TO PRESERVE AND PROMOTE THE GREEK ORTHODOX FAITH AND CULTURE IN THE UK AND IRELAND.
