1) TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION IN WALES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE PRESERVATION OF SITES OF RELIGIOUS AND SPIRITUAL SIGNIFICANCE. 2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF RELIGIOUS HERITAGE IN WALES.‘RELIGIOUS HERITAGE’ MEANS ANY HISTORICAL SPIRITUAL OR RELIGIOUS EVENT OR PLACE THAT HAS HAD A SIGNIFICANT IMPACT ON, OR IS SIGNIFICANTLY ASSOCIATED WITH, SHAPING ASPECTS OF CULTURE AND NATIONAL IDENTITY.
