Charitable objects

(1) THE EFFICIENCY OF THE ARMED FORCES, AND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY MEMBERS OF THE REGIMENTS OF THE HOUSEHOLD CAVALRY AND ROYAL ARMOURED CORPS, IN ORDER TO INCREASE THEIR FITNESS, BETTER PREPARE THEM FOR ACTIVE SERVICE AND THE PERFORMANCE OF THEIR DUTIES, BY PROVIDING A RECREATIONAL FACILITY FOR THEM AND THEIR DEPENDENTS, AND BY PROMOTING ESPRIT DE CORPS AND FOSTERING A CLOSE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SERVING AND FORMER SERVING MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES; AND; (2) SUBJECT THERETO, COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN AMATEUR SPORT AND RECREATION FOR ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY INCLUDING CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE, THE ELDERLY AND THE DISABLED.
