THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONG PEOPLE LIVING OR WORKING IN THE HOVE AREA BY PROVIDING SUCH PERSONS WITH EMERGENCY FOOD AND OTHER URGENTLY NEEDED DOMESTIC SUPPLIES WHICH THEY COULD NOT OTHERWISE AFFORD THROUGH LACK OF MEANS.
