A. FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY AND THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS IN THE PARISH OF PEMBRIDGE OR SURROUNDING AREAS (THE AREA OF BENEFIT), IN PARTICULAR BY PROVIDING ALMSHOUSE ACCOMODATION FOR OLDER PEOPLE OF LIMITED FINANCIAL MEANS WHO ARE ABLE TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY AND WHO RESIDE THE AREA OF BENEFIT. B. SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF RESIDENTS AND FORMER RESIDENTS OF THE ALMSHOUSES AS THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE.
