Charitable objects
3.1. THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE IS TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF
THE COMMUNITY OF EAST GRINSTEAD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY PROVIDING COUNSELLING AND
OTHER MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIES AND BY PROMOTING AWARENESS ON ISSUES OF MENTAL HEALTH AND
GOOD MENTAL HEALTH PRACTICES IN THE COMMUNITY. THE PURPOSE WILL BE CARRIED OUT IN A
MANNER CONSISTENT WITH THE CHRISTIAN FAITH AND THE DOCTRINES SET OUT IN THE SCHEDULE
ATTACHED ON PAGE 17 OF THIS CONSTITUTION.
