Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY SHALL BE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO ENGLISH LAW AND FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY PROTECTING AND PROMOTING THE HEALTH OF YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH THE REDUCTION OF THE INCIDENCE AND SEVERITY OF MENTAL HEALTH ILLNESS WITH THE AIM OF REDUCING THE NUMBER OF YOUNG PEOPLE TAKING THEIR OWN LIVES ('THE PRIMARY OBJECT'; AND 1 IN FURTHERANCE OF THE PRIMARY OBJECT TO CONDUCT RESEARCH INTO THE NATURE, CAUSES, DIAGNOSIS, PREVENTION, TREATMENT AND CURE OF MENTAL HEALTH ILLNESS AND IN PARTICULAR THE DEVELOPMENT OF RESEARCH FINDINGS INTO PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS FOR THE PREVENTION, IDENTIFICATION, TREATMENT AND CURE OF MENTAL ILLNESS; AND 2 IN FURTHERANCE OF THE PRIMARY OBJECT, TO PROVIDE INFORMATION AND RAISE PUBLIC AWARENESS AND IN PARTICULAR PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING OF SUCH MATTERS; AND 3 IN FURTHERANCE OF THE PRIMARY OBJECT, TO ENCOURAGE THE COLLABORATION OF RESEARCH AND THE SHARING OF INFORMATION AMONGST RESEARCHERS, INNOVATORS, PRACTITIONERS, REGULATORS, GOVERNMENTS, INDUSTRY, AND PARENTS AND YOUNG PEOPLE BOTH WITHIN THE UK AND WORLDWIDE.
