SCEC IS ESTABLISHED FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION WITHIN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK AND NEIGHBOURING BOROUGHS BY OPERATING A SCHEME OR SCHEMES OF ENRICHMENT LESSONS FOR CHILDREN OF PRIMARY SCHOOL AGE TO PROMOTE LEARNING, MOTIVATION AND CONFIDENCE AMONG SUCH CHILDREN.
