Charitable objects
1. TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE THE STUDY AND KNOWLEDGE OF ALL BRANCHES OF MEDICINE, DENTISTRY AND ALLIED SCIENCES. 2. TO ASSIST IN BRINGING TOGETHER ALL MEDICAL AND DENTAL PRACTITIONERS AND THEREBY TO PROVIDE IMPROVED SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY BY GREATER CO-OPERATION BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT BRANCHES OF MEDICINE IN THE AREA OF THE SOUTH SHIELDS DISTRICT HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE OR ITS SUCCESSORS.
