Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION IN THE UNITED KINGDOM FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE SUPPORT, ENCOURAGEMENT, EDUCATION, AND DEVELOPMENT OF THOSE INVOLVED IN ALL FORMS OF CHRISTIAN MINISTRY PARTICULARLY, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, LAY MINISTERS WITHIN THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND.
