THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE PREVENTION AND RELIEF OF POVERTY IN ENGLAND AND WALES BY PROVIDING FREE NEW WARM COATS TO IMPOVERISHED CHILDREN OR TO OTHER ORGANISATIONS WHO ARE ALSO WORKING TO RELIEVE POVERTY.
