THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN CHESHIRE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES TO ENABLE PARTICIPATION IN THE SPORT OF AMATEUR HOCKEY. (FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS CLAUSE ‘FACILITIES’ MEANS LAND, BUILDINGS, EQUIPMENT, ACCESS TO COACHING AND ORGANISING SPORTING ACTIVITIES).
