Charitable objects
THE OBJECT[S] OF THE CIO [IS][ARE]: 1) THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, OF WOMEN IN THE BOROUGH OF HALTON, AND SURROUNDING AREA, WHO ARE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY EXCLUDED ON GROUNDS OF THEIR GENDER, RELIEVING THEIR NEEDS AND ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: (A) RELIEVING THEIR NEEDS AND PREVENTING THEM FROM BECOMING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED; (B) ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY AND ACHIEVE THEIR POTENTIAL THROUGH DEVELOPING THEIR CAPACITIES AND SKILLS; (C) PROMOTING THEIR EDUCATION; AND (D) INCREASING THEIR EFFECTIVE PARTICIPATION WITHIN THE WIDER COMMUNITY. (2) THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY WORKING TO ELIMINATE DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF SEX OR GENDER, TO INCREASE THE PARTICIPATION OF WOMEN AND TO ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN.
