A. TO COLLECT, RESEARCH AND EXHIBIT ALL HISTORICAL AND EDUCATIONAL ARTIFACTS CONNECTED WITH SMALLFORD STATION AND THE FORMER HATFIELD - ST. ALBANS RAILWAY (NOW THE ALBAN WAY) WITH A VIEW TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A HERITAGE CENTRE FOR ACCOMMODATING AND DEMONSTRATING THE EXHIBITS. B. TO PROMOTE THE PRESERVATION OF AND IMPROVED ACCESS TO THE GRADE II LISTED 1866 SMALLFORD STATION BUILDINGS, PLATFORM AND ENVIRONMENT. C. TO ENCOURAGE AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN THE STUDY OF THE FORMER HATFIELD - ST. ALBANS RAILWAY AND THE IMPACT THIS HAD AND CONTINUES TO HAVE ON THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES AND ENVIRONMENT BY SHARING THE HERITAGE, WILDLIFE, NATURE, WALKING, CYCLING AND OTHER ASPECTS OF THE ALBAN WAY.
