Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION BY THE PROVISION OF A PRIZE (HEREINAFTER CALLED “THE FELLOWSHIP”) TO BE AWARDED TO SUCH CHILDREN (INCLUDING ADOPTED CHILDREN AND STEP-CHILDREN AND CHILDREN OF THE FAMILY) OF FREEMASONS, OR WHO ARE FREEMASONS THEMSELVES UNDER THE UNITED GRAND LODGE OF ANCIENT FREE AND ACCEPTED MASONS OF ENGLAND (“UGLE”) AND WHOSE AGE DOES NOT EXCEED 25 YEARS, ON APPLICATION WHO EITHER:
(A) ARE IN THEIR FINAL YEAR OF SECONDARY EDUCATION OR IN TERTIARY EDUCATION AT THE ROYAL MASONIC SCHOOL FOR GIRLS OR AT SUCH OTHER SCHOOL OR SCHOOLS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION THINK FIT; OR
(B) HAVE COMPLETED THEIR SECONDARY OR TERTIARY EDUCATION AND ARE TAKING A BREAK FROM FULL TIME EDUCATION, WITH THE INTENTION TO RE-ENGAGE IN FULL TIME EDUCATION; OR
(C) ARE UNDERTAKING A COURSE OF HIGHER EDUCATION AT UNIVERSITY OR EQUIVALENT ACADEMIC INSTITUTION.
