Activities - how the charity spends its money
Founded by Benjamin Britten in 1952 for local amateur musicians, Aldeburgh Music Club is an unauditioned choral society. Weekly rehearsals under its musical director aim to prepare for three annual public concerts, often held in Snape Maltings Concert Hall with professional soloists and orchestra. Strong local support is given by its patrons.AMC has commissioned choral works from young composers.
