TO ADVANCE PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ART OF LITERATURE BY THE PROVISION OF AWARDS OUT OF THE INCOME OF THE TRUST TO AUTHORS OF LITERARY WORK WHETHER FICTION, NON-FICTION, DRAMA OR POETRY, THE CENTRAL THEME OF WHICH IS CONCERNED WITH THE MOUNTAIN ENVIRONMENT.
