1)TO STIMULATE AND PROMOTE THE USE AND SCIENTIFIC UNDERSTANDING OF ACUPUNCTURE AS PART OF THE PRACTICE OF MEDICINE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT; AND 2)THE ADVANCEMENT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF SUITABLY QUALIFIED PRACTITIONERS IN PARTICULAR BY INSTITUTING OR ASSISTING IN THE INSTITUTION OF TESTS,EXAMINATIONS AND ACCREDITATION TO PROMOTE HIGH STANDARDS OF WORKING PRACTICES IN THE FIELD OF ACUPUNCTURE AMONGST SUCH PRACTITIONERS
