SUCH GENERAL OF SPECIFIC CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN CONNEXION WITH THE PARISH AND THE PAROCIAL CHURCH OF ST. BARTHOLOMEW THE GREAT IN SMITHFIELD AFORESAID OR EITHER OF THEM IN SUCH PROPORTIONS AND IN SUCH MANNER IN ALL RESPECTS AS THE RECTOR AND CHURCH WARDENS FOR THE TIME BEING OF THE SAID PARISH IN THEIR ABSOLUTE AND UNCONTROLLED DISCRETION SHALL IN WRITING DIRECT, OR IN DEFAULT OF SUCH WRITING AS THE BISHOP OF LONDON SHALL DIRECT.
