THE OBJECTS OF THE BRANCH SHALL BE TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE IMPROVEMENT, PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF THE COUNTRYSIDE OF NOTTINGHAMSHIRE AND ITS TOWNS AND VILLAGES, INCLUDING THE CITY OF NOTTINGHAM, AND THE BETTER DEVELOPMENT OF THE RURAL ENVIRONMENT.
