1) A YEARLY SUM OF ú1 TO BE PAID TO THE VICAR OF TODMORDEN FOR PREACHING A SERMON ON NEW YEAR'S DAY EACH YEAR. 2) RELIEVING EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE ANCIENT PARISH OF ROCHDALE, WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS.
