The Charity is an amalgamation of several former Charities, now regulated by a single Sealed Scheme of the Charity Commissioners, for benevolent purposes relating to the relief of need, hardship or distress of persons (and their dependants) who have served in, and for promoting the efficiency and maintaining the traditions of, the County Infantry Regiments of Surrey and their successors in title.
