Charitable objects
1) TO PROMOTE AND ASSIST IN THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN THE ARTS AND CRAFTS, INCLUDING THE ARTS OF MUSIC, DRAMA, DANCING, MIME, PAINTING, SCULPTURE AND GRAPHIC ARTS, AND LITERATURE AND POETRY, AND TO EXTEND AND INCREASE THE APPRECIATION, KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE ARTS AND CRAFTS IN ALL THEIR FORMS; 2) TO PROMOTE THE PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE OF THE WORKS OF BENJAMIN BRITTEN AND PETER PEARS; 3) TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION OF THE MUSICAL, HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL LEGACIES OF BENJAMIN BRITTEN AND PETER PEARS FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT, IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE MAINTENANCE AND ENHANCEMENT OF THEIR PROPERTIES AND COLLECTIONS; 4) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN MATTERS RELATED TO PEACE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC; AND 5) TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE ANY OTHER CHARITABLE OBJECT OR PURPOSE AND TO ENGAGE IN ANY FIELD OF CHARITABLE GRANT-MAKING ACTIVITY PERMITTED BY ENGLISH LAW.
