(A) TO RELIEVE WANT AMONGST OLD PEOPLE IN NECESSITOUS CIRCUMSTANCES. (B) TO GRANT SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIES AND OTHERWISE TO MAKE GRANTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF BOYS AND GIRLS SO AS TO ENABLE THEM TO RECEIVE EDUCATION AND TRAINING FITTED TO THEIR NEEDS FOR WHICH RESOURCES WOULD NOT OTHERWISE BE AVAILABLE.
