TO PROTECT OR IMPROVE, OR FOSTER AN APPRECIATION OF THE LANDSCAPE, NATURAL BEAUTY AND AMENTITY OF WOODLANDS, COPSES OR OTHER AREAS OF LAND IN THE UNITED KINGDOM; AND THE FLORA AND FAUNA THEREIN, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, AND TO FOSTER THE GROWTH OF SPECIMEN TREES AND SHRUBS AND TH ESTABLISMENT OF WOODLAND OR COPSES WHICH BY THEIR LOCATION WILL BE AN INSPIRATION TO MAN IN THE ENVIROMENT IN WHICH HE LIVES, AND A DEMONSTRATION OF MAN'S FAITH IN THE FUTURE.
