THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY THE PROMOTION, ENCOURAGEMENT AND ADVANCEMENT OF UNDERWATER AND MARINE STUDY, RESEARCH AND EXPLORATION WITH REFERENCE TO THE MARINE AND RELATED SCIENCES, UNDERWATER ARCHAEOLOGY, THE CONSERVATION OF THE UNDERWATER ENVIRONMENT, THE LIFE THERIN AND ALL ITS RESOURCES FOR THE BENEFIT OF HUMAN LIFE AND HEALTH AND HUMAN SURVIVAL, SAFETY, HEALTH AND MOVEMENT UNDERWATER, AND THE DISSEMINATION OF THE RESULTS THEREOF AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF PERMANENT LIBRARY AND INSTITUTE FOR THE PRESERVATION AND STUDY OF HISTORICAL, TECHNICAL AND OTHER RECORD RELATING TO UNDERWATER SCIENCES.
