TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE PREHISTORY AND HISTORY OF THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KINGSTON UPON THAMES AND TO UNDERTAKE TO PROMOTE THE PRESERVATION WHERE DESIRABLE OF ANY SITE, BUILDING, MONUMENT, OBJECT OR RECORD OF HISTORIC, ARCHAEOLOGICAL OR ARCHITECTURAL INTEREST IN OR RELATING TO THE SAID BOROUGH.
