To advance the education of the public with regards to the operation of Railways in Britain, especially East Anglia, between 1890 and the 1950's when steam was withdrawn. To co-operate with other responsible organizations and individuals to restore, preserve, maintain, display and operate engines, carriages and other rolling stock, equipment and railway relics such as buildings, artifacts etc.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC WITH REGARD TO RAILWAYS IN PARTICULAR BY (BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) THE RESTORATION AND PRESERVATION OF THE UNIQUE QUAD-ART SET CURRENTLY STABLED ON THE NORTH NORFOLK RAILWAY AND SUCH OTHER ITEMS OF RAILWAY EQUIPMENT AND RELICS OF HISTORICAL OPERATIONAL TECHNICAL AND GENERAL INTEREST AS THE TRUST MAY RECEIVE OR ACQUIRE AND THE MAINTENANCE AND PUBLIC DISPLAY AND DEMONSTRATION OF THE SAID CARRIAGES EQUIPMENT AND RELICS. THIS SHALL ALSO INCLUDE ANY OF THE AFOREMENTIONED ITEMS, INCLUDING HERITAGE LOCOMOTIVES THAT MAY BE PERMANENTLY BASED ON, OR OWNED BY, THE NORTH NORFOLK RAILWAY
