1. TO ENCOURAGE THE STUDY, IMPROVE THE PRACTICE AND ADVANCE THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE FORENSIC SCIENCES, RELATING TO MEDICINE, SCIENCE AND THE LAW. 2. TO IMPROVE AND DEVELOP THE EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE OF BOTH THOSE ACTIVELY CONCERNED IN THE PRACTICE OF THE FORENSIC SCIENCES AND OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY.
