MEMORANDUM AND ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION INCORPORATED 10 MAY 1995 AS AMENDED BY SPECIAL RESOLUTION DATED 18 AUGUST 1996 as amended on 27 Feb 2024
Charitable objects
Primarily but not exclusively for the benefit of Muslims or those of Muslim decent ('beneficiaries') in Preston and the surrounding area ('area of benefit') by: (a) Relieving the poverty, hardship and distress arising therefrom of such beneficiaries through the provision of information, advice and guidance to improve both the social and economic circumstances, mental and physical health and well-being, by whatever charitable means the Trustees think fit; (b) Advancing the education of such beneficiaries through the provision of training sessions, vocational and non-vocational classes, employment advice and other assistance in gaining employment; (c) Providing facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation for those who have need by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial circumstances or social and/or economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the conditions of life of such persons.’
