The objects of the Ramsay Trust are to promote research into the study of pure and applied chemical science through providing competent advanced students with the means to pursue chemical research. The policy of the Trustees is to award fellowships to competent advanced students to pursue chemical research in universities or other places of higher education, normally in the United Kingdom.
