IN ACCORDANCE WITH GUIDANCE ON PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO PROMOTE INTEREST AND SCHOLARSHIP IN BOTH THE SCIENTIFIC AND THE APPLIED ASPECTS OF HYDROLOGY AND TO FOSTER THE INVOLVEMENT OF ITS MEMBERS IN INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITIES DIRECTED TO THE PROMOTION OF SUCH SCHOLARSHIP.
