Charitable objects
FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE RELIEF OF NEED AND THE PROMOTION OF THE MENTAL AND SPIRITUAL WELFARE OF DEAF PERSONS AND OF VISUALLY IMPAIRED PERSONS (WHERE THE PROVISION OF SUCH SERVICES ARE LINKED TO OR PROVIDED AS PART OF THE SERVICES PROVIDED TO THOSE WHO ARE DEAF)) WITHIN GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND AND SECONDLY THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. FOR THESE PURPOSES THE TERM 'DEAF' MEANS DEAF, PARTIALLY DEAF OR DEAFENED.
