TO RELIEVE PERSONS ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD AND IN PARTICULAR THE AGED, THE YOUNG, THE SICK, THE POOR WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS BY REASON OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR AS A RESULT OF LOCAL OR NATIONAL DISASTER AND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF MATERIAL RESOURCES AND AID TO RELIEVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF NEED AND THEREBY IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE AND TO CARRY OUT SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF SUCH PERSONS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE
