This includes working in partnership with others to tackle poverty and deprivation to support health and well being, employability and financial inclusion. Through Bullion Hall to provide specific services and activities for the benefit of the community and most especially those who are disadvantaged.

Charitable objects
THE CHARITY IS ESTABLISHED TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITIES IN THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF COUNTY DURHAM AND IN PARTICULAR THE FORMER LOCAL GOVERNMENT DISTRICT OF CHESTER-LE-STREET AND, IN PARTICULAR, THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, THE PROTECTION OF HEALTH AND RELIEF OF POVERTY DISTRESS AND SICKNESS THE PROVISION, MAINTENANCE OR IMPROVEMENT OF A PUBLIC AMENITY IN THE VICINITY OF A LANDFILL SITE, WHERE IT IS FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT. PROVIDED THAT IN CARRYING OUT THESE CHARITABLE PURPOSES THE CHARITY WILL SEEK TO CHALLENGE ALL FORMS OF OPPRESSION AND INEQUALITY AND TO GIVE PRIORITY TO WORKING WITH PEOPLE WHOSE FULL PARTICIPATION IN SOCIETY IS LIMITED BY ECONOMIC, POLITICAL AND SOCIAL DISADVANTAGE.
