TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITIES OF THE CEREMONIAL COUNTIES OF AVON CORNWALL DEVON DORSET SOMERSET AND GLOUCESTERSHIRE INCLUDING THE UNITARIES IN THE AREA ("THE AREA OF BENEFIT") BY PROVIDING CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS OPERATING WITHIN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WITH: (A) ADVICE TRAINING AND INFORMATION; AND (B) OTHER ASSISTANCE APPROPRIATE TO THEIR NEEDS SO AS TO ENABLE SUCH ORGANISATIONS TO CARRY OUT THEIR CHARITABLE WORK MORE EFFECTIVELY AND EFFICIENTLY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY.
