(A) TO RELIEVE EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY THOSE PERSONS WITHIN THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF GATESHEAD ("THE AREA OF BENEFIT") WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS BY THE PROVISION OF FURNITURE AND OTHER HOUSEHOLD ITEMS AND ACCESSORIES.
(B) THE RELIEF OF ELDERLY AND/OR DISABLED PEOPLE BY THE PROVISION OF A GARDENING SERVICE FOR THOSE WHO REQUIRE SUCH A SERVICE.
