(I) TO PROMOTE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION OF PLANT SPECIES OF THE WORLD AND IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING THE PROMOTION OF THE CULTIVATION AND MAINTENANCE OF SUCH PLANTS BY BOTANIC GARDENS THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC AND OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING IN RELATION TO SUCH PLANTS AND THE PROMOTION OF RESEARCH CONCERNING SUCH PLANTS AND THEIR CONSERVATION PROVIDED THAT ALL THE USEFUL RESULTS SUCH RESEARCH SHALL BE PUBLISHED
