TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN, ON A NON-PROFIT MAKING BASIS, A COMMUNITY TRANSPORT SERVICE FOR SUCH OF THE INHABITANTS AND VISITORS TO THE PARISHES OF ALWINTON, BIDDLESTONE, ALNHAM, HARBOTTLE, NETHERTON, HEPPLE, CARTINGTON, SNITTER, THROPTON, ROTHBURY, TOSSON, HESLEYHURST, CALLALY, ELSDON, ROTHLEY, HOLLINHILL, NUNNYKIRK, BRINKBURN AND SURROUNDING AREA OF THE UPPER COQUETDALE AREA OF NORTHUMBERLAND WHO ARE IN NEED OF SUCH A SERVICE BECAUSE OF AGE, SICKNESS OR DISABILITY (MENTAL OR PHYSICAL), OR POVERTY, OR BECAUSE OF A LACK OF AVAILABILITY OF ADEQUATE PUBLIC PASSENGER SERVICES.
