Charitable objects
1) TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND ENHANCEMENT OF THE TOWNS OF MALTON AND NORTON, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THE RIVERSIDE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, AND TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY AND CULTURAL HERITAGE OF THE AREA, AND TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY AND CULTURAL HERITAGE OF THE AREA. 2) TO PRESERVE, PROTECT AND IMPROVE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE CASTLE GARDEN AS A PUBLIC PARK, A PLACE OF HISTORIC INTEREST AND BEAUTY AND FOR THE RECREATION AND ENJOYMENT OF MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC.
