Charitable objects
A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION; B) THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ARTS, CULTURE OR HERITAGE; C) THE ADVANCEMENT OF AMATEUR SPORT; D) THE PREVENTION OF RELIEF OF POVERTY, DISTRESS OR SUFFERING BY APPROPRIATE CHARITABLE ASSISTANCE INCLUDING IN PARTICULAR, BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION, AMONG: 1) MEMBERS OR FORMER MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE CROWN; 2) PERSONS NOW OR FORMERLY HOLDING LICENSES TO RIDE AS FLAT OR NATIONAL HUNT JOCKEYS OR EMPLOYED OR FORMERLY EMPLOYED OR OTHERWISE ENGAGED OR FORMERLY ENGAGED IN OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE HORSERACING INDUSTRY AND FOR THE WIVES, WIDOWS, CHILDREN AND DEPENDANTS GENERALLY OF SUCH PERSONS; E) THE PROMOTION OF THE CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES OF INDEPENDENT HOSPICES; F) THE PROMOTION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF URBAN OR RURAL REGENERATION IN AREAS OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEPRIVATION BY THE PROVISION OF HOUSING FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED AND THE IMPROVEMENT OF HOUSING IN THE PUBLIC SECTOR OR IN CHARITABLE OWNERSHIP PROVIDED THAT SUCH POWER SHALL NOT EXTEND TO RELIEVING LOCAL AUTHORITIES OR OTHER BODIES OF STATUTORY DUTY TO PROVIDE OR IMPROVE HOUSING; G) THE PROMOTION OF THE EFFICIENCY OF THE RESCUE OR AMBULANCE SERVICES; AND H) ANY OTHER EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE OBJECTS AND PURPOSES IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD.
